Merrydale magic

Merrydale is a small valley close to the village of Slaithwaite in West Yorkshire. It’s been a special place for generations, where families, children and others can enjoy a bubbling stream, wildlife and the peace of the countryside.

Merrydale Magic is a two year community project which aims to capture the unrecorded history of Merrydale. We want to share memories of Merrydale, help children to experience the magic of this special place and ensure it is protected for the future.
